Our rehabilitation centres in East Kalimantan and Central Kalimantan are not open for casual visits. However, you can get a step closer to our work by visiting our Information Centre or by staying at Samboja Lodge.
The Central Kalimantan Orangutan Reintroduction Program at Nyaru Menteng is not only home to over 300 orphaned and displaced orangutans, it is also home to our Information Centre.
Opening Times: Our Information Centre is open on Saturdays and Sundays, from 9 am - 5 pm. On Mondays–Fridays, visits are by appointment only. To make a reservation please contact us by email or use the form below.
Getting there: Located about 30 kilometres from downtown Palangka Raya, our Information Centre is easily accessible by car. View in Google Maps.
Admission is free, but donations toward our work are welcomed.
