Although smaller than many orangutans his age, Galaksi more than makes up for it with his intelligence, agility, and endless curiosity. Forest School is his favourite playground, where every tree to climb and every corner to explore becomes a new adventure waiting to be discovered.
BACKGROUND STORY
His journey began in August 2021, when he was found alone near a roadside in East Kutai and brought to Samboja Lestari at midnight. Only seven months old and weighing just 2.4 kilograms, the fragile infant gradually grew stronger under the loving care of his surrogate mothers. Today, Galaksi has transformed into a healthy, confident climber, developing the skills he will one day need in the wild.
