Big milestones are happening for little Onyer in Forest School Group Three! Growing more confident every day, he now spends less time relying on humans and more time climbing trees, exploring the forest, and playing with his best friends, Jeni and Aiko. Every adventure helps him build the skills he needs for life back in the rainforest.
BACKGROUND STORY
Onyer was rescued from Dahian Tambuk village, Gunung Mas Regency, Central Kalimantan, by the Central Kalimantan BKSDA’s wildlife rescue team. He was subsequently handed over to the Nyaru Menteng Rehabilitation Centre on February 2021 at 10 months old. Now, the small but strong Onyer has joined Forest School Group Three and is ready to take bigger steps forward.
