SPECIAL WEEK IN KEHJE SEWEN
For the past two months, the activities in Kehje Sewen have been slower than usual due to Ramadhan and Idul Fitri holidays.
We are working hard to protect the Bornean orangutan and its habitat for future generations. Here are some of the ways we've helped develop a world where orangutans and nature thrive.
For the past two months, the activities in Kehje Sewen have been slower than usual due to Ramadhan and Idul Fitri holidays.
Each day our Post Release Monitoring (PRM) team based out of Camp Totat Jalu in the Bukit Batikap Conservation Forest, are responsible for the daily monitoring of our reintroduced orangutans.
For the last few days, residents of Palangkaraya, Central Kalimantan have been significantly impacted by a think haze which has covered the town and surrounding area.
In the last two months, five orphaned orangutans have been given sanctuary by the BOS Foundation rehabilitation center in Nyaru Menteng.
The sad reality of each young orangutan who enters our rehabilitation centers is that they come from having lived through a bitter past; usually having been separated from their mother at a very young age and little Tundai is no different.
