Circus life robbed Wanna and her friends of their natural ability to walk and behave as orangutans. They arrived at the BOS foundation walking bipedally like humans and were unable to climb trees or sleep in the forest.
On 11 June 2014, the rain was pouring down as the BOS Foundation Rescue Team from Nyaru Menteng headed towards Sampit.
Together with her son Kaban, Sukamara has started a new chapter of her life on one of our pre-release islands, Palas.
On May 21 2014, the BOS Foundation’s Forest School in Nyaru Menteng welcomed new students from the Nursery Group.
