JOB DESCRIPTION
Requirements:
- Minimum pass of D3 animal health/paramedic
- Having experience is preferred
- Love challenges and wildlife
- Willing to be placed in Palangkaraya, Central Kalimantan
- Can communicate well
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assist veterinarians in supervising and monitoring animal health.
- Together with veterinarians, arrange animal menus and feeds if the nutrition section is obstructed or absent, and continue to communicate this with the leadership and the observation-enrichment section.
- Give medicines to animals and record the use of these medicines.
- Conduct laboratory examinations and take necessary actions according to the instructions of the veterinarian, related to laboratory examinations and their follow-up.
- Actively conduct general inspections of orangutans on a monthly, or weekly, or for new animals.
- Actively involved in the transfer of orangutans with the observation-enrichment section.
- Perform clinical administration work for the Orangutan Reintroduction Centre.
