About The Role
The Merchandise & Shop Staff is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the BOS Foundation merchandise business, ensuring efficient sales operations, inventory management, order fulfillment, logistics coordination, and administrative processes. The role also supports fundraising events and promotional activities while delivering a high standard of customer service to donors, supporters, and the general public.
Working collaboratively with the Fundraising team, this position contributes to generating sustainable fundraising income through the effective management of merchandise sales and retail operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily merchandise sales through both offline and online sales channels.
- Support merchandise sales and retail operations during fundraising events, exhibitions, campaigns, and other organizational activities.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, monitor stock levels, and coordinate stock replenishment to ensure product availability.
- Process customer orders, including order verification, packing, shipping, and delivery coordination, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment.
- Maintain proper documentation and prepare regular administrative and sales reports related to merchandise and fundraising activities.
- Support transportation, logistics, and distribution requirements associated with merchandise operations.
- Ensure merchandise displays, storage areas, and retail facilities are organized, clean, and maintained in accordance with organizational standards.
- Provide professional, responsive, and customer-oriented service while representing BOS Foundation in a positive manner.
- Assist with other operational and administrative duties as assigned to support fundraising and organizational activities.
Qualifications
- Minimum Senior High School (SMA/SMK) diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of professional experience in retail operations, merchandising, shop administration, logistics, customer service, or a related field is preferred.
- Possession of valid Indonesian driving licenses (SIM A and SIM C) with the ability to operate both cars and motorcycles safely.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as digital communication platforms.
- Good administrative, inventory management, and record-keeping skills.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Honest, responsible, proactive, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills with a customer service-oriented approach.
- Willingness to work in the field, participate in fundraising events, and travel as required.
- Demonstrated interest in environmental conservation, wildlife protection, or the non-profit sector will be considered an advantage.
