THE INDEPENDENT DELILAH
Delilah was born on 29 June 2018, to her mother Dilla, who was unable to care for her newborn.
We are working hard to protect the Bornean orangutan and its habitat for future generations. Here are some of the ways we've helped develop a world where orangutans and nature thrive.

					In 2022, we took in several young, orphaned orangutans at our rehabilitation centres in Nyaru Menteng and Samboja Lestari. Rumba was less than 12 months old when she arrived at the Nyaru Menteng Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre in Central Kalimantan.
 
					Samboja Lestari’s Forest School has one less student for the time being, as little Galaksi has been removed from the group’s activities due to a fracture in his leg.
