JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise orangutan monitoring activities.
• Oversee the implementation of monitoring staff duties and ensure work is carried out effectively.
• Assist the Program Manager in developing annual monitoring and pre-release activity plans.
• Monitor the use of inventory and equipment, and prepare program procurement requests.
• Manage monitoring staff, including supervision, performance evaluation, and implementation of foundation policies and procedures.
• Conduct phenology and biodiversity monitoring and data recording.
• Prepare written reports and submit them to the Program Manager.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma degree, preferably in Biology, Forestry, or a related field.
• Willing to be based in East Kalimantan.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Applicants currently residing in East Kalimantan will be preferred.
