EARTH DAY 2025: OUR POWER, OUR PLANET
Every year on April 22, we celebrate Earth Day as a moment to raise awareness and encourage real action in protecting the environment.
On August 22, a fire broke out in Batampang village in Central Kalimantan, affecting the Mawas Conservation Program area. Around five hectares was scorched in the remote location, which is difficult to reach. Poor access and a shallow river made it especially challenging for our Mawas team and the Bagawi Hayak firefighting team, who worked tirelessly together to extinguish the fire.

The Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Indonesia with BOS Foundation will soon conduct the 27th orangutan release from the Samboja Lestari Rehabilitation Centre into the Kehje Sewen Forest.
At the end of 2024, Baimah and Feruza finally advanced to Forest School Level 1. Their journey to this new stage began with an adaptation process full of challenges.
