Galaksi might still look smaller than the other orangutans his age, but he easily makes up for it with his clever, agile, and curious nature. He is always having a blast in Forest School—always climbing, exploring, and discovering out new things with his friends.
BACKGROUND STORY
His journey began in August 2021, when he was found alone near a roadside in East Kutai and brought to Samboja Lestari at midnight. Only seven months old and weighing just 2.4 kilograms, the fragile infant gradually grew stronger under the loving care of his surrogate mothers. Today, Galaksi has transformed into a healthy, confident climber, developing the skills he will one day need in the wild.
