BACKGROUND STORY
After her rescue in August 2024, ten-month-old Selfie underwent a three-month quarantine at Nyaru Menteng. Loving care from her surrogate mothers helped soothe her initial anxiety, allowing her to successfully join the nursery group and forest school, where she is now thriving as a resilient young orangutan.
