We are working hard to protect the Bornean orangutan and its habitat for future generations. Here are some of the ways we've helped develop a world where orangutans and nature thrive.

In the recent month Noel had given us quite a headache. He was often seen wandering around the camp in Kehje Sewen Forest and attempting to loot our camp, especially during the day when most technicians were monitoring other orangutans in the forest.
The latest observations carried out by the Monitoring Team have provided some great insights into how our orangutans, including Acul, Mayang, Yayang and Sayang, Leke, Hamzah and Casey are all progressing.
It has been a while since our last meeting with Mayang though during the middle of last month, the post-release monitoring team picked up radio tracking signals from some of our other reintroduced orangutans including Agus, Lesan and Hamzah.
The monitoring team was happy to find Lesta and her son Lewis near Karangan Hara. They both looked very healthy and were discovered playing in the water, an activity that orangutans indulge in only when it is hot and they are thirsty.
