FOUR ORANGUTANS AT CAMP LESIK
A few weeks ago, four orangutans; Lesan, Berlian, Casey and Upi were seen roaming around Camp Lesik.

A few weeks ago, four orangutans; Lesan, Berlian, Casey and Upi were seen roaming around Camp Lesik.
The reconstruction of Island 6 is finally complete. After 5 months of hard work, we have installed a new platform for orangutans to rest on, as well as several rubber ropes and new barrels for them to play with.
When the team arrived at the Totat Jalu release camp at noon on February 26, the four orangutans to be released - Dewi, Mentos, Compost and Jatihan - were in tip-top condition.
The BOS Foundation released five orangutans in the Bukit Batikap Conservation Forest, Central Kalimantan, this February.
After a 6-day expedition to locate previously-released orangutans, we finally managed to find one which we had not detected for quite some time: we found Juminten not far from Camp Lesik.
