ORPHANED ORANGUTANS KEEP ON ARRIVING

The sad reality of each young orangutan who enters our rehabilitation centers is that they come from having lived through a bitter past; usually having been separated from their mother at a very young age and little Tundai is no different.
The success of our orangutan reintroduction programs, which recommenced in February 2012, has been an amazing journey for all of us to be part of and such a joy to share our stories and lessons learned.
Circus life robbed Wanna and her friends of their natural ability to walk and behave as orangutans. They arrived at the BOS foundation walking bipedally like humans and were unable to climb trees or sleep in the forest.
