On 23 December, 2017, a 2-year-old baby orangutan arrived at the BOS Foundation’s Nyaru Menteng Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre. The small, frightened baby girl, whom we later named Rachel, was handed over in a wooden box by a local resident.
